In the beginning of March 2020 (start of COVID-19 pandemic), we helped a large, e-commerce apparel company save 16% on their small parcel costs. As a $36MM/yr shipper, this equated to over $5MM in annual savings by hiring us to help negotiate with their carriers. The best part was that they retained over 94% of the savings! We negotiated with two of the major carriers on behalf of their multiple business units, and even landed them some concessions on the initial wave of COVID peak season charges at the time. This savings exceeded executive expectations, and after our fee, the client held on to over 96% of the savings they achieved.
